What is a “hydrosol silver?” Is Silver Wings a hydrosol silver?
In simple terms, a hydrosol is a fluid form of a colloidal solution. Taber’s Medical Dictionary defines it as “a fluid state of a colloidal solution,” which means silver particles are evenly dispersed and suspended in water.
Because colloidal silver is, by definition, silver particles suspended in water, it is also considered a hydrosol.

Should liquid colloidal silver have color?
Yes. A natural amber hue is exactly what you should expect from true colloidal silver. The color reflects the presence of silver particles suspended in purified water, and higher parts per million naturally create a richer amber tone. This visual cue simply indicates authentic colloidal silver made with a higher concentration of elemental silver particles.
In comparison, many 10 ppm ionic silver products appear clear, like plain water, because they contain far fewer silver particles. This lower concentration often requires more frequent dosing, which can be less convenient and less economical for regular use.
Which silver is the best value?

For expiration date purposes, Silver Wings products carry a three year shelf life. For best results, always store colloidal silver in amber or dark glass bottles to help protect the integrity and purity of the product.
Does Colloidal Silver contain any allergens?
Silver Wings colloidal silver is free from common allergens including gelatin, wheat, sugar, salt, corn, eggs, and yeast. It is also formulated without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Our products are gluten free and non-GMO, and there have been no known allergic reactions reported to our properly prepared colloidal silver.
